A "U-TIP" FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NATURAL HAIR…THERE IS AN ALTERNATIVE TO FLAT IRONING! THE CONVENTIONAL / TRADITIONAL OR "OLD SCHOOL" WAY OF PLACING A HOT COMB INTO A HEATED OVEN…HAS BEEN UPDATED TO AN ELECTRIC COMB, WHICH STILL GIVES YOU THE STYLING OPTION OF A "FLAT IRON"…BUT WITH A LONGER LASTING ADVANTAGE.

Hi, thanks alot & I did go searching for the product, unfotunately they don’t seem to have that product in my country/island(Trinidad). So I’ll hold back 4 awhile until something offering simlar protection pops up, but I appreciate the recommendation non the less.
In response to my recommendation to use Dudley Pressing Cream when you press your hair with this “electric pressing iron”; the product can only be purchased from a licensed beautician. Hope that this helps you with your hair.
Your welcome. Hair protection is key, I use Silk Elements Hair Protection Spray, Silk Elements Hair Mousse (which protects the hair as well), Silk Elements Polish (that protects) and the pressing cream I use called Dudley’s Hair Pressing Cream is a protectant as well. Have a blessed day to you too.
Hi,thanks 4 the response, i wear my hair under a weave right now and i’m also searching for alternatives to avoid relaxers.I have both a pressing comb and flation and any review i see stating the pro’s and cons interest me, but i will read up more on hair protection…enjoy ur day & all the best 4 the new year!
The electric combs have been out for some time now, yes. However this video is to give an alternative to flat irons, which have also been out for awhile. This technique will not change your hair texture permanently. I, myself, can revert back to my curly natural hair when I wash it. The pressing cream is waxed based so it doesn’t melt to burn hair or scalp,it protects it. Years ago they did use oil and a heat comb that would burn it. Don’t use oil on your hair if the comb burns you, however.
Hi don’t get me wrong but the electric iron has been around awhile now, I’ve had one over 5yrs now, but from watching several other vids, the complaint seems 2 b about changing your hair texture permanently and using oil based products which burn ur hair. My pressing comb is goldplated and has a control settings, but with all the talk of ceramic/tourmaline products. I’m chillin’ out on the fence with the whole heat application stuff wish u luck with ur choice
